The Philadelphia Eagles have officially signed Marcus Smith II to a four-year deal.

Smith said,

"It means everything. I've been waiting on it for a long time, been wanting to sign my contract just to get everything over with. It just feels great to be an Eagle and have no worries and go on the field and do what I do best. When I put the pen to paper? The first person I think of is my mom. She did so many things for me and I just feel like I could go out and do something special for her."

The former Louisville linebacker finished last season with 41 total tackles, 14.5 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles.
